I genuinely want to serve on the BFA Gas division board. I would love to be able to give back to the BFA after so many years of receiving the rewards of being a member. I am absolutely committed to safety and helping the sport to grow. I actively volunteer at different schools in Texas to teach students about ballooning, including both hot air and gas.
I received my Private certification in 1996, my Commercial in 2000, and had my limitation to hot air removed in 2017. During that time, I was active in the Lone Star Balloon Association & Central Texas Balloon Association, helped develop and instruct a Part 141 Ground and Flight School in Houston, flew at Balloon Fiesta and have achieved WINGS Level VI. I've participated in two America's Challenges as well.
